The Ryan Phua Memorial Fund’s mission is to support Bay Area Cancer Programs selected by the LiveStrong Foundation (Foundation). For the past nine years, the Foundation has funded over $1.1M grants to the following Bay Area Organizations:

Camp Kesem, Lafayette: To provide children affected by a parent’s cancer with a supportive, lifelong camp community that recognizes and understands their unique needs. http://campkesem.org

Asian and Pacific Islander American Health, San Francisco: The Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum (APIAHF), on behalf of 39 communitybased organizations dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders, filed a historic amicus brief before the U.S. Supreme Court supporting the Affordable Care Act (ACA). http://www.apiahf.org/

Circulo de Vida Cancer Support and Resource, San Francisco: The program has a 20year history of providing a variety of support programs to Latinos living with cancer. Creative Healing Project, San Francisco: Uses art to transform and connect children, youth and adults experiencing isolation and loss due to illness, trauma and other life changing events.

Gilda Club Worldwide, San Mateo: The mission of Gilda's Club is to provide places where men, women, and children with cancer and their families and friends join with others to build social and emotional support as a supplement to medical care.

HopeLab Foundation, Redwood City: Harness the power and appeal of technology to improve kids’ health. Our work with ReMission demonstrated that specially designed technology can be both fun and effective in driving positive health behavior in young people. http://www.hopelab.org
